Talal Al Dhiyebi is the Group Chief Executive Officer at Aldar Properties, having previously held the positions of Chief Development Officer and Executive Director of Asset Management, amongst other senior positions within the group.
Al Dhiyebi serves on the boards of numerous companies, including Chairman of Aldar Investment, Chairman of Aldar Estates, Chairman of Musanada, Vice-Chairman of Aldar Education, and board member of Miral Asset Management, Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management, Sandooq Al Watan, Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, and Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Al Dhiyebi is a graduate of Electrical Engineering from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
Osama Saleh has served as non-executive Chairman of SODIC from April 1, 2020, until January 16, 2022. Saleh has over 40 years of experience, during which he held several leading positions in the public and private sectors. Saleh is a renowned Egyptian economist who once served as the Minister of Investment.
Saleh served as the Chairman of the Egyptian Mortgage Finance Authority (MFA), Chairman of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI), and the Regional Manager of American Express Bank Ltd. He is currently the non-executive Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ayadi for Investment and Development, Ayadi for Urban Development, Abu Soma Tourism Development Company, and Damietta City Furniture Company. He is the Founder and Chairman of Riseinvest for Financial Consultancy and Investment Solutions, as well as Chairman of the Egyptian Serbian Business Council.
Saleh is also a board member of several authorities and companies, including the National Investment Bank, NI Capital Company, Akhbar Al-Youm Investment Company, and the Holding Company for Electricity Distribution.
Saleh received a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University.
Fahad Abdulla Al Mahmood is the Managing Director of Aldar International and is responsible for leading Aldar’s expansion into international markets. The company’s first new market entry was completed in 2021 through the acquisition of a majority stake in one of Egypt’s leading real estate companies, SODIC.
Since joining Aldar in 2013, Al Mahmood has held a number of senior positions including Chief Ventures Officer at Aldar Development, Executive Director of Stakeholder Management and Director of Infrastructure and Government Relations. Before his time at Aldar, he spent 7 years at Emirates Advanced Investment as a secondee from the UAE Government, where he was employed as an engineer since 2001.
Al Mahmood received his MBA from New York Institute of Technology and his bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from United Arab Emirates University.
Dalia Khorshid is the Chairwoman and CEO of MASAR. Prior to that, she founded and chaired Eagle Capital for Financial Investment. Khorshid is the former Minister of Investment for the Government of Egypt, where she led the charge on Egypt’s investment law.
Khorshid has over two decades of extensive and diverse experience in the banking and financial sector with some of the biggest corporate names in Egypt. Prior to her stint as minister, Khorshid spent 11 years as Executive Vice President & Group Treasurer at Orascom Construction Limited and Group Treasurer at OCI NV where she successfully spearheaded their multi-billion-dollar fundraising initiatives. She also spent a year with the groups as Deputy Corporate Finance & Investment Banking Group Head of the North African region, where she skillfully brought numerous deals to completion including cementing a loan to OCI-owned Algerian Cement Company and advising on several high-level M&A transactions.
Khorshid held numerous roles within Citibank’s Corporate Banking Group in Egypt, working her way from Management Associate to Vice President of the division to Head of Corporate Finance and Investment Banking in Citibank Middle East and North Africa. Khorshid also spent three years as Relationship Manager of the Corporate Banking Group of CIB, Egypt’s largest private sector bank. Khorshid holds a BA in Business Administration from The American University in Cairo.
Jonathan Emery is the Chief Executive Officer at Aldar Development and is responsible for all development activities across the company.
Throughout his 30+ years in the global real estate industry, Emery has held senior positions at leading developers including UK Managing Director at Hammerson, Managing Director of Development and Communities at Majid Al Futtaim and most recently at Lendlease, a multinational construction, property and infrastructure company, where he was both CEO of the firm’s global residential practice and Managing Director of Property for Europe, and prior to that he was their Managing Director of Development for Australia.
Emery is a graduate of Nottingham Trent University in the United Kingdom. He has attended a number of other academic institutions, including Henley Management College, Harvard, INSEAD and has been a visiting professor at Yale University.
Roque Solabarrieta is an Executive Director at ADQ.
Prior to joining ADQ, Roque was the Chief Operating Officer for E-Vision, the media arm of Etisalat Group. Prior to this role, Roque led Etisalat Group Strategy unit for numerous years as the Group VP of Corporate Strategy and Business Development.
He also served as an Associate Management Consultant at Booz & Company, a Senior Consultant at Capgemini UK, and a Director of Wholesale at Primus Telecommunications.
Roque has substantial Board experience during his historical and current board and board committee experience at Etisalat Nigeria, E-Vision, twofour54, ImageNation, Abu Dhabi Media Company, StarzPlay, ADNEC Group, Eltizam Group, and ExCeL London.
Roque holds an MBA from Helsinki School of Economics, Finland, and a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Engineering from Universidad Adolfo Ibanez, Chile.
Hesham Gohar is a Non-Executive Independent Board Member at SODIC and the Group Chief Executive Officer of CI Capital Holding, one of Egypt’s leading diversified financial services groups. With over 25 years of experience in investment banking and private equity, he brings deep expertise in corporate governance, financial strategy, and capital markets.
Gohar has held senior leadership roles across key regional markets including KSA, UAE, and Egypt. He has served on the boards of over 20 companies and led over 90 transactions across growth markets, with a combined value exceeding USD 20 billion, reflecting his strategic vision and proven record in driving complex deals and sustainable business growth.
Gohar holds a BA in Economics from the American University in Cairo and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of Cleopatra Hospitals Group (CHG), Taaleem for Management Services, CI Capital Holding and its subsidiaries, Ezz El Arab Group, and The British International School in Cairo (BISC).
David Dudley is the Chief Partnerships and Investments Officer at Aldar Development and is responsible for executing and managing development partnerships, including joint ventures, public-private partnerships, land acquisition, and corporate acquisitions. Dudley also plays a key role in the development and implementation of Aldar Development’s strategy for international expansion and asset class diversification.
Dudley has over 25 years of global experience in real estate advisory, development management, asset management, and transactions. Prior to joining Aldar, he held senior positions at JLL, including Director of Operations and Head of Abu Dhabi, KSA, and Egypt, and prior to that, senior roles with JLL in Hong Kong, Asia, Russia and the UK.
Dudley holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Urban Land Economics from Sheffield Hallam University. He serves as a board member for various Aldar Development Partnerships.
Khalifa Alblooshi is an Investment Manager (Energy and utilities) at ADQ.
AlBlooshi has also served as a Senior Associate at Mubadala (International Real Estate Investments) and an Associate at Prudential Real Estate Investments. He is also a Board Member in Sustainable Water Solutions Holding Company, Abu Dhabi Waste Management Company (Tadweer), Al Wathba Veolia Besix Wastewater Company, and Al Etihad Biwater Wastewater Company.
Khalifa holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, United States.
Emma O’Brien has been Group General Counsel at Aldar since 2014 and is responsible for the company’s legal and governance affairs.
Prior to joining Aldar, Emma had previously practiced in a number of international law firms, both in Abu Dhabi and London. Emma has also advised on a wide range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, international arbitrations, public-private partnerships, and major development projects.
Emma is a graduate of the Universities of Birmingham and the West of England in the United Kingdom and a Solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales.
Noura Yassin is the Executive Director and Head of Geographical Expansion – Partnership and Investment at Aldar Properties, bringing over 25 years of strategic leadership experience in the real estate industry across the MENA region. Yassin leads regional expansion, strategic transactions, and investment planning, with expertise in asset acquisition, M&A, feasibility studies, and valuations. Known for building strong partnerships and managing complex stakeholder networks, Yassin enhances Aldar’s real estate development function, ensuring sustained growth and alignment with the company’s long-term vision” as per her shared bio.
Prior to joining Aldar, Yassin held the position of Associate Partner at EY Middle East, where she founded and led the real estate advisory service line, significantly contributing to the firm’s revenue growth. Yassin also served as Director and Head of Valuation & Consultancy at CBRE Middle East, where she led the department’s expansion and oversaw the valuation of landmark assets and large-scale developments across the region.
Ayman Amer is SODIC’s Group General Manager. Amer has over 20 years of experience across the Real Estate, Project Management, and Construction industries in North Africa. Amer previously held the position of SODIC’s Chief Operating Officer, where he headed the development business unit, and oversaw operations from land acquisition and project development to the marketing and sales of SODIC’s developments.
Amer previously served as SODIC’s Chief Business Development and Procurement Officer, where he was responsible for setting and monitoring SODIC’s procurement strategy across all divisions, as well as expanding the company’s land bank and forming strategic partnerships with operators.
Prior to joining SODIC, Amer spent four years as Procurement and Cost Control Manager at Turner International Middle East (TIME), following his post as Senior Procurement Engineer at Orascom Construction Industries (OCI).
Amer holds a BSc in architectural engineering from Cairo university and a diploma in project management from The American university in Cairo as a Certified International Procurement Professional.
Ehab Amer is SODIC’s Chief Project Officer, leading the delivery of major developments across the company’s extensive portfolio in West Cairo, East Cairo and Egypt’s North Coast. He oversees all stages of construction, , ensuring projects are delivered timely and to the highest quality standards.
Amer brings 30 years of experience in managing large-scale, multi-asset projects. Prior to joining SODIC, Amer held senior roles in Egypt and Qatar with leading engineering and construction firms, including PACER Consultants, Consulting Engineering Group (Qatar), and Shuttle Trading & Contracting Company.
Amer holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Cairo University and an MBA in International Business Administration from The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), with additional postgraduate studies in construction management and a professional certificate in project management.
Aly El Samra is SODIC’s Chief Commercial Officer. El Samra has over 18 years of experience in the Real Estate Development sector.
El Samra joined SODIC in 2008 as a Property Consultant, he then moved on to hold many managerial positions within the sales department. In 2022 El Samra was appointed as SODIC’s Executive Director of Sales, where he oversaw regional and international sales teams, achieving the highest sales record for SODIC since inception.
Prior to joining SODIC, El Samra held the position of Account Supervisor at Fortune Promoseven and Account Executive at Marcom.
Aly El Samra holds a BA degree in Mass Communication from the American University in Cairo (AUC), specializing in marketing studies.
Nadine Okasha is the Chief Strategy, Brand, and Sustainability Officer at SODIC. In her current capacity, Okasha heads SODIC’s strategy management office and several other corporate functions, including market research and customer experience, as well as SODIC’s corporate marketing, public relations, social responsibility, and sustainability functions.
Prior to joining SODIC, she held the position of Business and Organizational Development Senior Manager at Azza Fahmy Jewelry from 2007, where she oversaw the Dubai and Bahrain markets. In 2004, Okasha relocated to France, where she served as Business Development Manager and headquarters representative at Kato International S.A.S, tasked with growing the UK and German markets.
Okasha began her career in Nasgeyat for Trade and Industry in a marketing role in February 2003. She earned her BSc in chemical engineering from Cairo university in 2002 and her certification from the Wharton School of Business Executive Development program in 2009.
Samar Yehia is SODIC’s Chief Human Resources Officer. With over 23 years of experience, she brings extensive expertise in leading HR strategies and operations across Egypt and the region.
Prior to joining SODIC, Yehia served as the Vice President of Human Resources for the North-East Africa and Levant region at Schneider Electric, where she led strategic HR initiatives and talent development. Under her leadership, the company has achieved and sustained the ‘Best Place to Work’ award for four consecutive years. Her career also spans senior leadership roles at multinational organizations including Barclays Bank, Lafarge Building Materials Holding, PepsiCo, and SC Johnson, where she played a key role in organizational transformation, leadership development, and capability building.
Yehia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Master’s degree in professional development from The American University in Cairo.
Wael Abdelhak is SODIC’s Procurement Executive Director leading the organization’s procurement team in the sourcing, negotiation and awarding of all procurement packages.
Abdelhak has over 12 years’ experience in the field of tendering and procurement within the real estate and construction industries in addition to eight years of experience in design engineering.
Prior to joining SODIC in 2010, Abdelhak held the positions of Technical Office Manager at Mass S for General Contracting following his time as Senior Design Engineer at Saudi Binladin Group in Jeddah, KSA where he moved with the group after spending two years as Senior Design Engineer at Al Marasem in Cairo.
AbdelHak began his career as a Design Engineer at ECC Engineering Consultancy Center in 1998. Abdelhak holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Ain Shams University
and a Contractual & Legal Aspects in Construction industry Diploma from The American University in Cairo (AUC).
Tamer Ramadan is SODIC's Executive Director of Project Controls & Budgeting, overseeing the planning and financial governance of large-scale developments across West Cairo, East Cairo, and Egypt’s North Coast. His leadership ensures efficient project execution, optimized budgeting, and disciplined cash flow management.
Ramadan has over 22 years of extensive experience in managing complex real estate developments across Egypt. Prior to joining SODIC, he served as a Senior Estimator and Site Engineer at Engineering Consultants Group (ECG), and as a Technical Office Engineer at El Gammal Contracting Co.
Ramadan holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from Ain Shams University (2001). He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and an accredited Real Estate Executive Development Program participant at the American University in Cairo, accredited by the National University of Singapore.
Amr Roshdy is SODIC's Technology Executive Director. With over 18 years of experience, Roshdy leads SODIC's digital transformation, business applications, infrastructure, operations, and security, as well as fiber optics and connectivity across SODIC communities.
Prior to joining SODIC, Roshdy held multiple regional leadership roles in Uber, Oracle, and IBM. At Uber, Roshdy was the Head of Uber for Business in the Middle East and North Africa, where he led the corporate transportation business and established the High-Capacity Vehicles for the corporate division.
In Oracle, Roshdy led the Business Analytics division in the Gulf and Levant, then led the execution of national projects and complex engagements with strategic Government entities in the UAE. At IBM, Roshdy was managing the Data and Business Analytics division in Egypt, then led Hybrid Cloud Software in strategic Government and Healthcare entities in the UAE and Oman.
Roshdy holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from Cairo University.
Ibrahim Badr El Din is SODIC’s Chief Internal Audit & Operational Support Officer, overseeing SODIC’s group Internal Audit & Support department to provide independent, objective assurance and advisory services. Badr El Din has over 25 years of extensive experience in internal Audit, Risk Management and Business Planning across different industries and operating levels.
Prior to joining to SODIC, Badr El Din held the position of Internal Audit Director - Head of Africa & Asia Business unit at Orascom Telecom and Deputy Audit Manager at KPMG.
Badr El Din holds a BA in accounting from the Faculty of Commerce, Cairo University and is a Certified Management Accountant from the Institute of Management Accountants, where he is also a member.
Mohamed El Deeb is SODIC’s CEO Property Management and Chairman of EDARA, managing all aspects of Facility Management and Operations on-site. El Deeb has over 30 years’ experience in Projects and Facilities Management. Prior to joining to SODIC, El Deeb was the Chairman & CEO for El Shams for Housing and Development and held different positions in international institutions like Orascom Holding & Development, Emaar Misr for Development S.A.E and IMKAN Properties.
El Deeb holds a PhD in Construction Engineering from Ain Shams University and an MSc. In Construction Management from Cairo University, and became IFMA certified trainer: Facility Management Professional (FMP) and Sustainability Facility Professional (SFP), and holds: FMP in 2016 and SFP in 2018. El Deeb was a “Visiting Professor” at the American University in Cairo (AUC), and he has a number of academic published papers at the CSCE, in the subjects of Real Estate and Facilities Management.
Mohamed Beltagy is CEO of Edara Property Management (subsidiary of SODIC), overseeing all facets of EDARA’s business, with over 30 years of experience in the real estate sector in strategic planning, asset management, and customer relations. Prior to joining SODIC, Beltagy held the position of CEO at Al-Tameer for Asset Management, Chairman & CEO at Khedma Palm Hills Developments, and held different positions in various institutions like Hyde Park Properties for Development, Kazyon Maroc, and Orascom Development.
Beltagy holds a BA in Law from the Police Academy.
